About 1,300 people have died and 27,000 are trapped by the floods devastating Pakistan. With no clean water or food available there is now the danger of cholera epidemic as well as gastrointestinal diseases. Health Minister Syed Zahir Ali Shah said it is thought that about 100,000 people are already suffering from these illnesses.
