Three people were arrested in Norway on suspicion of preparing terrorist attacks linked to al-Qaeda. The police reported that the suspects could have links to other people under investigation in the U.S. and UK. According to Janne Kristiansen, head of Norway’s Police Security Service, “this group has had links to people abroad who can be linked to al-Qaeda, and to people who are involved in investigations in other countries, among others the United States and Britain”, she said.
