President Hamid Karzai inaugurated the High Council for Peace, a forum for dialogue with Talibans and insurgents. “Today’s is the inaugural meeting of our High Council for Peace – affirmed Karzai on opening the proceedings in the President’s Palace – every province, every district, every village is waiting to see the work done by the High Council to bring peace in this land”.
