CASINI: BUDGET REDUCTION BEFORE PHONE TAP BILL

Palermo – Casini, commenting again on the phone tap bill, asked that the budget reduction measures be approved first. The leader of the Udc commented: “We are saying no to a law that is mistaken and risks giving assistance to criminals.” Casini continued: “We cannot allow ourselves to compromise on the fight against crime in order to protect privacy,” and added that it is necessary to “give priority to the budget reduction measures”.
