CHINA: FLOOD CRASHES BRIDGE, KILLING AT LEAST 37 PEOPLE

A flood stage river caused the collapse of a bridge in a Central China village, killing at least 37 people. 19 more are missing. The 153-meter long bridge was destroyed on Saturday, in the mountain county of Luanchuan, Henan province. Chinese floods and landslides killed over 750 people since the beginning of the year, and hundreds more are missing.
