DEM.REP. CONGO: THE UN ACCUSES RWANDA OF GENOCIDE OF HUTUS

The UN accused the Rwandan army of genocide for the slaughter of Hutus in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The report was published today and the Congolese Ambassador to the United Nations appealed for justice for the slaughters. The crimes committed in the East of the Country from 1993 to 2003 could be classified as genocide by the international organization in the report submitted to the High Commissioner for Human Rights. The document blames the armies of all the countries involved for what was defined as the African World War, in terms of the number of people involved and the millions of victims caused.
