Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s plane landed in Brussels at 12:15 PM. A technical problem with one of the aircraft’s windows led to an emergency landing in Linate airport, followed by a change in aircraft. Italy’s Premier will now join other European leaders at the EU Council meeting. Among other things, discussions will touch upon the controversial Roma citizen deportation policy adopted by France.
