FINANCE: NEGATIVE NON-EU TRADE BALANCE FOR MAY

The balance of trade with non-EU countries was in the red for 1,416 million euros in May. The gap compared to the same month in 2009 (+464 million euro) is significant. The data was provided by ISTAT.

Compared to April exports rose by 1.5% and imports by 3.2%. For the March-May 2010 quarter, compared to the previous quarter, exports rose by 5.8% and imports by 12.5%. .
