Bulgaria and Greece entertain relations but are having problems in overcoming doubts about the pipeline from Russia. Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou has reiterated Greece’s interest in building the 280 kilometre pipeline for the Bulgaria port of Burgas to Alexandroupoli in Greece. The pipeline will carry crude oil from the Caspian Sea to Europe bypassing the Bosphorus.
