HEAT WAVE, RED ALERT IN 5 CITIES TOMORROW

This summer’s first major tropical heat wave is easing a bit. “Red alert” warnings should be issued only for five cities tomorrow: Bolzano (felt air temperature: 32 degrees), Brescia (34), Milan (35), Perugia (33) and Rome (35). For three of them (Bolzano, Perugia and Rome) the red alert should stand until Wednesday. An orange alert could be issued in Genoa where the felt air temperature is forecast to reach 35 degrees. Temperatures will remain at normal levels for this time of the year in the rest of the country and humidity is expected to drop
