ISTAT REPORTS LESS FOG AND REFUSE IN URBAN AREAS
Cities are breathing more easily: in 2009 there was a slight fall in pollution and in the production of refuse. The Report on Urban Environmental Indicators uses ISTAT figures to analyse 116 provincial capitals. In 2009, many indicators reported a fall in environmental pressure generated by human activities.
