Italian President Napolitano urges anyone who believes him to be violating the Constitution to ask for his impeachment. Otherwise, he claims, the PDL Party should put a stop to the pressure. In a Presidential Palace communique, Giorgio Napolitano responded to PDL politician Fabrizio Bianconi, who accused him of being “in breach of the Constitution”. The note states, “If he is sure that his accusations have a basis, he should ask for the President to be impeached. Otherwise, all he is doing is laying unfounded accusations and undue pressure at the President’s door.”
