KORAN BURNING: RIOT IN KABUL, POLICE STONED
A riot started in Kabul during a protest against the Koran burning threatened by a US pastor. Hundreds of protesters marched through the Afghan capital, throwing a hail of stones at the police in full anti-riot gear, in a failed attempt to reach the center of the city. The officer shot in the air in order to disperse the crowd.
