The Duisburg Love Parade tragedy was God’s punishment for the sins of lost youth. This is the theory of the Assistant Bishop of Salzburg, Andreas Laun, who believes that both the Love Parade and the act of taking part in it are “a kind of rebellion against Creation and against the Divine Order, they constitute a sin and an invitation to sin”.
