According to Transatlantic Trends, Obama obtains more consensus in the EU than in the US, with 84% of Italians in favor. 78% of the people interviewed in 11 EU Countries generally approve of the American President’s foreign policy and 55% is favorable to a strong U.S. leadership in the world, although only 49% agrees with Obama’s choices in Afghanistan and Iran.
