POPE: VATICAN-BISHOP RELATIONS NON-BUREAUCRATIC

Vatican City – The Pope wishes for terms between Roman Curia and local bishops to be non-bureaucratic, Nuncios should note. As representatives of the Holy See to local ecclesiastical communities, as well as to states, they must in fact “transmit the norms, indications, and orientations that stem from the Holy See with profound love for the Church, and with the aid of patiently developed faith in oneself, contemporaneously respecting and valuing the efforts of bishops and the paths of the individual Churches to which they are sent”.
