RSN MUSICIAN ACCUSED OF PEDOPHILIA FLEES THAILAND

Russian musician Mikhail Pletnev, charged with pedophilia and released on bail, was then forced to flee Thailand. The 53-year-old acts as both conductor of the Russian National Orchestra and cultural advisor to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. Mr. Pletnev stands accused of abusing a 14-year-old boy; he may be sentenced to up to 20 years in jail and will have to return to Thailand to stand trial on July 19. .
