New car sales in Spain fell 24,1% in July, according to the carmakers’ association ANFAC. Last month sales fell to 82.167 units from 108.221 the previous year, impacted by the end of incentive schemes and increased VAT as from 1st July. ANFAC also predicts that sales will fall by a further 30% during the second half of 2010
