Milan – Telecom and Pirelli were aware of what was going on. In explaining the sentence in the Telecom Dossier trial Milan’s preliminary hearings magistrate, Mariolina Panasiti, accuses them of “a very serious intrusion into peoples’ private lives motivated by partisanship in the struggle between economic and financial power blocks, a partisanship that tends to benefit not the company as such but the controlling ownership at a particular point in history”.
