TERRORISM: PKK MILITANT ARRESTED IN TARANTO

The police have arrested a PKK militant sentenced to 6 years in jail by Turkish authorities. Orgen Ali, an ethnic Kurdish from Turkey who has been lawfully living in Taranto for some years where he also runs a phone centre, was already known to have had contacts with some of the people involved in an inquiry which led to the arrest of 10 Turkish citizens and one Italian in Venice last February.
