A 14-mt sailboat with 42 clandestine migrants on board was halted by by the GdF corps off the Salento coast. 3 children, 5 women and 34 men were on board the boat coasting off Porto Selvaggio near Lecce. The tax police arrested the two Turkish owners on counts of clandestine migrant trafficking. .
