Tony Blair is being accused of stealing lines from the movie, ‘The Queen’ and using them in his memoir. Peter Morgan, the film’s screenwriter, claims that one of his lines was copied word for word, and further stated, “I wish I could say that I’m in the know, but I made that line up.”
The former Prime Minister, however, claims never to have watched the film in question. ‘The Queen’, starring Helen Mirren and Michael Sheen, was released in 2006 to great critical acclaim.
