GM will produce in S. Korea an experimental fleet of electric cars, branded Chevrolet Cruze. The Detroit giant will start this project by the end of October. The Cruze EV model will use LG Chemical batteries and a propulsion train made by LG Electronics. The goal is to understand if the local consumers are interested to ecologically friendly cars. At this time there is no plan to sell the cars in the US.
