USA: MARIJUANA, IF LEGAL, USE IN CALIFORNIA WOULD DOUBLE

California legalization of marijuana would probably double consumption and drastically reduce prices. According to a RAND research group, if we hypnotize a tax of 50 dollars per ounce, the state would gain about 1,4 billion dollars per year, and consumption could increase by 50 – 100%. Marijuana pre-tax price would drop to 38 dollars per ounce vs. the current price equaling about 375 dollars.
