WORLD: ONLY 28% OF SWEDES IN FAVOUR OF EURO

Stockholm – The already shaky popularity of the euro in Sweden is tumbling: with 28% in favour as against 44% in November. The data comes from the National Statistics Office.

Sweden opted out of the euro after a referendum in 2003 and now, in the run up to the September elections, all the political parties have affirmed that over the next 4-year term of office no further referendums will be carried out on the matter.
