LOS ANGELES (USA) – Sono state annunciate a Los Angeles le nomination per la 70/a edizione degli Emmy Awards 2018, gli Oscar del piccolo schermo. The Americans, The Crown, Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, Stranger things, This is Us e Westworld [App di Blitzquotidiano, gratis, clicca qui,- Ladyblitz clicca qui –Cronaca Oggi, App on Google Play] sono le serie drammatiche che hanno ottenuto una candidatura. Atlanta, Barry, Blackish, Glow, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Silicon Valley, The unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt e Curb your entusiasm, sono gli otto titoli nella categoria miglior commedia. La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 17 settembre a Los Angeles.
Game of Thrones, che è andata in onda l’estate scorsa ed è quindi in nomination quest’anno, è stata la serie più nominata ma è andata molto bene anche Westworld: hanno avuto rispettivamente 22 e 21 nomination. È anche la prima volta dopo 17 anni che HBO non è il network con più nomination (per programmi o attori). Quest’anno il maggior numero di nomination (112) è andato a Netflix.
